mapvue is operated by MapVue Corp ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
mapvue runs searches against Google Maps local results from a grid of coordinates around a business you nominate, records where that business appears at each point, and presents the result as a map, a set of figures and a report you can share with your own clients.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Google. Results come from third-party search-data providers and reflect what those providers returned at the time of the scan.
Local search results vary between identical searches and change without notice. A position we record is a measurement, not a guarantee, and an individual grid point can move by several places run to run. We do not promise that using mapvue will improve any ranking, and the recommendations in a fix list are derived from the scan's own geometry — they are suggestions based on measurement, not professional advice.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree not to:
We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and will tell you why.
You keep everything you put into mapvue — your business list, your keywords, your branding and your logo. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store that material, render it into your reports, and show it to people you share a report link with.
The scan data we produce about a business is yours to use with your clients. The software, the interface and the report templates remain ours.
A share link is an unguessable URL, and anyone holding it can read that report without signing in. That is deliberate — it is how your client opens it. Revoking a link from the dashboard deletes it and any PDF behind it immediately. Treat a live link as public, and revoke it when an engagement ends.
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email the account owner before it takes effect. Continuing to use mapvue after that means you accept the new terms.
